“We don’t need to pray, and we don’t want to pray…” – said no church, ever.
Of all the things that a local church could be doing, ministries to maintain, stuff to slot into the program or serve in, we know that we ought to devote ourselves to prayer and to the ministry of the word (Acts 6:4 style). Right? Yep. But when and how? And together?
We of Reforming will continue to pray in our church services and Gospel Groups, but we will also devote time on Sundays to have a congregational prayer meeting at the building where our services are hosted. So to gather with us for prayer, be there at 10.00am and 3.30pm Sunday’s, and use the Lord’s Day that he has given us to serve him in the church and in the world, by praying.
