Here’s what’s on for Reforming this weekend…

Since we are a church-plant that prays to the Lord of the harvest to raise up and send out more labourers into His harvest field, a bunch of us are heading to Challenge Conference this coming Saturday August 1st to pray and plan in such a way. Please pray of this year’s delegates, and particularly our crew from Reforming, that we would consider what serving in gospel ministry might look like for each of us. Pray that God would raise up more people to undertake a two-year Ministry Apprenticeship with our church and in partnership with other ministries.

Also, on Sunday we are going to hear from God’s word in 1 Corinthians 4 (as we continue our ‘Reforming Church’ series) about how to be finally free from the prison of pride. That’s a sermon time in length the Puritans would be proud of, except they and we want to be rid of pride 😉

Gospel Groups are kicking off again in this new term, and our 121 network of Bible & prayer relationships is growing – God is using us to make disciple-making disciples.

We’ll be hosting our Membership Course again soon, and there’s going to be a Music Meeting for our bands.

There’s lot’s on, we serve the God who does the impossible by raising the dead, so I look forward to seeing you on Sunday and seeing Him cure the problem of pride in our hearts.

Your pastor,
